Time for another devlog!

Over the past weeks, we've focused on general fixes, improvements, and some small additions to gameplay. Here's a breakdown of what we've been working on.

Recent Work

  • Chat and HUD fixes: pressing Enter now opens the chat correctly.
  • Aiming target system with updated projectile mechanics.
  • New melee skill addition.
  • Enhanced vendor NPC with head-tracking and name displays.
  • Expanded mob population across the island.
  • Ocean trigger volume for the Catacomb (below sea level access).
  • Mob patrol timing adjustments.
  • Idle animation fixes during combat.
  • Improved mob respawn visibility.
  • Goblin Leader stat increases.
  • Server crash prevention from roll spam.
  • Projectile persistence bug resolution.

Known Issue

We discovered a bug that caused the ocean to disappear if players died inside the catacomb and respawned outside. This happened because the trigger was being processed server-side instead of locally. We're working on fixing this.
